NOT TO LIE but i think strikeforce fighters are the fighters that are not good enough to fight in the UFC because if u look most of the fighters in strike force they were in the UFC and sucked
3:36 “Marloes Coenen snatch HIS victory”
Is Marloes conen a man ? wtf ?
2:38 Was that Anderson silva ? Behind the wallpaper (commercial paper) ?
@muchohumpty, only for the new mma fans, like you.
And Bobbies? :S
except when it comes to the ladies!
diaz has to beat diego sanchez first since he has already lost to him. and hendo beating fedor? where does that get us? rematch silva vs hendo? probably get us tito vs hendo. is strikeforce sub par to ufc or are guys like diaz and hendo showing us what fighting is really about – perseverance? i think we need a rematch with hendo and fedor and diaz has to reprove him self in the ufc. maybe strikeforce can be thought of the triple AAA of MMA??
well its better now that one organization now has control of the vast majority of the best fighter with ufc owning strikeforce. so now we can see fights like diaz vs gsp.
@movie5647 Yes, yes he would
Mauro us annoying as hell
sure GSP connected more but even GSPs face was more busted up his nose was bleedin
@naraic1020, he’s full of heart and really loves MMA and knows about it.
yeah i forgot that.dont forget that hendo had a back injury. but man what would you expect from shields ? this guy has ZERO stand up and got his head almost clocked by GSP.
shields did it
king mo would try to lay n pray on hendo. but thats not possible with hendo at all
@movie5647
no doubt ! hendos right is enough to shatter jones chin
No, Mauro is the worst
Check my channel if you wna help out with some research on mma…. cheers!
i found that having a rss feed from slashdot is the best way to know what is going on. their feed is always changing . there is so much mma news all the time. i am better able to start knowing what is going on. in fact its how i ended up checking this video.
lol Silva’s fight with “Dangerous” “Hendo” was the first time he lost the round but 2nd round came back with striking and finished it on the ground
but your right fuck organization they must all come together with an international ranking system
@vanavery what a fukn joke
hendo will probably pull the h bomb at the final rounds
king mo would kick the shit out of dan henderson
Any given sunday
in combat sports thats truely what it boils down to
hendo has sickening power wot a beast!! anderson silva rematch! thumbs up ppl
Karen learned quickly, but after lessons from Jeremy. The one who needs to learn to film is the cameraman. He had shitty angles.
Respectfully, I think Karen learned the techniques very quickly. She is very personable, and did a great job presenting this story, and raising awareness.
”So what are some other things that you can teach me, cuz we got from the back and from the front now” ”Lay down please” (she kneels) ”On my back?” ”Yes” (Jiu jitsu porn movie begins)
Did they just do it on tv??
I SO WANNA MEET LEGEND ROYCE GRACIE !!!!! DAMN SHE’S LUCKY !
“like you got me from behind…” hmmmmmmm 😀
@Game your logic doesn’t work.The fight they show is similar to what you assert. Royce is WORLD CLASS JJ-ist fighting someone who is basically a wrestler…bigger than him, like a typical man/woman matchup (size). As a WORLD CLASS JJ-ist, it took 16 minutes to do anything. Severn barely threw a punch. People don’t understand the physicality involved….16 min. is FOREVER. Further, they are rolling around on a mat, not curbs/etc. A 1yr woman is NOT “world class”. Bas Rutten shows reality.

@Gam Sorry, but a wrestling match in a gym/dojo is NOT the same as an attack, for a few important reasons. 1. Panic. There won’t be panic in the gym…it is safe. 2.No one is punching the woman in the face at the gym or trying to break her arm, etc. 3. Surprise. there is none in the typical gym. “it is get ready, timmy is going to grab your wrist or roll with you.”. BIG differences. OF COURSE I am not advocated attempting to knock women out in the gym, but you fight how you practice.
I am in no way disparaging JJ. I advocate tough martial arts training for kids. Teach skills, exercise, and reinforce morality that one should never attack over insults and the like. This REDUCES, not increases violence. I watch a lot of mma and am really only interested in seeing creative, skilled grappling. It sickens me to hear the punks and cowards who like to see OTHERS get hurt and bleed. Hopefully no one gets hurt, we are entertained, they get paid….sweet deal!
@Gamez The best short-term training is viciousness, not “moves”. Getting and being WILLING to use a weapon GREATLY increases chances for survival. Attacking the face with something sharp, raking the face/eyes, punching (or using a weapon) to the throat, etc….very quick, giving just enough time to run. People have been THOROUGHLY COWED. Few people fight back in any way, to any kind of attack, being falsely taught it’s best to hope an immoral person won’t hurt you too badly. pffffft.
Two, exhibitions like this and most “training” today will get someone hurt, thinking they are better/tougher than they are. People tend to learn a few “moves” and are not as careful in their interactions. This is a common phenomenon. For example, a woman takes a few “women’s self defense courses” now walks alone at night when she previously wouldn’t. The best “self defense” training starts with teaching street smarts…where not to go or who to be near and how to get out.
yes absolutly!
but if their intent is to hurt you then the best thing to do if there are multiple opponents is to make a run for it and call for help
one opponent bjj will absolutly destroy them
that doesnt make any sence because the gracies beleved in leverage instead of power
bjj is good but like its not that bad, nd like royce isnt the best cause like i think for the sakuraba fight he used steroids.
You can tell she’s flirting!
one more time please
royce is the man haha, such a nice guy
”one more time pleezze” LOL
@xmanhockey7
As To0t said, early UFC didn’t have a time limit, nor did they wear gloves. There were little to no rules.
early ufc didnt have time limit
What UFC fights only 3- 5 minutes and his lasting 16??????? A full UFC fight is 15 minutes unless it’s a title fight then it’s 25 minutes.
look the first rule of martial arts USE UR BRAIN. If there is an armed assailant or many people jiu jitsu may be rendered useless especially against many opponents. Use your brain if ONE guy is trying to hurt u go ahead use it, but if there are many guys and all they want is your money then just give it to them, If they want your life fight a couple them then RUN AWAY
please watch video again… 4:22 ‘this is what you never want to get down to the ground” Royce: “yes” …. that whole method there is all about getting yourself up and away from a ground and pound situation… not get yourself in that situation… which to me makes sense.
And in this video – the two techniques prior to that where non-sacrificial standing throws…
leaving you on your feet and the would be attacker breaking kissing concrete
or did I miss something?
your responses are ignoring fact: the video is showing someone “instructing” others to PURPOSEFULLY take an attacker to the ground. This is clearly not the same as saying “if the fight ends up on the ground”. IRL, going to the ground will get you hurt/killed. Bas Rutten agrees.
as we both said it’s not ideal… having a ground game is useful, so you can get up and out and reduce their chance of doing so, pretty much my point… it’s not the end of it all… I do agree with your point about the ‘but say this happens…’ brigade… I fully understand about the vast difference between theory and practice.
On ‘teh st£3tz’ ground game is another wrench in the tool box and like any tool – misuse it and it makes more problems than it solves, but well used it can help a lot
