@juliasky3 Of course she does, trust me, when she first put on the singlet, she went to the mirror and bent over forward on her hands and knees and previewed ALL of the angles, she knows exactly what she is doing. It’s the same with the guys too.

@jossbsure If this was the case, why did Kimura in an interview complain that the surface he fought Gracie on was too soft, and could not knock him out through his throws, and thus resulted in a key lock to finish his opponent (obviously giving the japanese name for the key lock)? I doubt any of us are more of a master of it than Kimura.
@AbsoluteJake She was definitely trying to go for a left sided Morote-Soei-Nage, but without the dynamics of balance & lever! Now, the problems comes when people who don’t know THINK that “many Judo throws are intended for their opponent to land on their face/head” which is not true! Judo is an EVOLUTION from JuJitsu, intended to have partners who are able to GET UP after a fight! But because a lot of people don’t know the history of things keep reinventing the wheel, we don’t get far ahead

@jossbsure She was obviously going for a shoulder throw over the hip, which is common in Judo and japanese Jujitsu, then a key lock which is very common in Judo. Now she didn’t have perfect control over her opponent, but many Judo throws are intended for their opponent to land on their face/head, just like the Gracie vs. Kimura fight. And in fight situations you normally dont have a stationary enough opponent for stable control.
@Anilithun Learn where the word Kimura came from and then come back and tell me Judo is useless.
I must say the music is useless for the video. Anyway you can tell the girl in the tan was looking for a Judo throw then went for a Judo style key lock (I’m no good with Japanese names lol). I would say she was trained in Judo, and the KO was no fluke.

@TheChoice. I was making comments about her achievement on this technique and I said it was bad. If the end result is all that counts for you, it was a 1000% effective, you are right. There are some people who don’t see things the way you do, I hope you’ve noticed by now (being 38). Some people care about things beyond immediate results. You’re very rude when replying, I suspect a class dummy and I know for teaching Judo to some of them. They usually begin to understand when they feel pain
