I will also say aspire to be a Recon Marine and greatly respect them, and couldn’t possibly have more respect for the SAS they are also a great fighting force.
And just so you understand I am American and I love America, as well as England… And Iraq; We acheived far more than could have been anticipated in mere months during desert storm.
And we lost in Vietnam? We may not have accomplished our goals, but we certainly dominated militarily.

If you go on gold medals per head of population then the UK won during this summers olympics. We came third on the medals table, but have 5 times less population than the US, and over 20 times less than china!!. As for fighting a war, i find it extremely difficult to think of any war which America has fought alone, and won!!
